Shorts remake goes live; each update to pick its own words to explain
A pull request was merged and is live that starts a silent remake of the 40 short videos already published on the site. The shorts are the site's short videos. The remake removes their old intro and sign-off and adds visuals, and it is running now.
A check on the live site showed the tappable explanations at work. The 14 October day page has 29 updates; the terms autonomous system, governance, migration and commit became tappable 17 times, and the glossary sheet is present.
Those words came from a fixed list of 15 terms. That list was dropped in favour of a different approach: "Each time it writes an update, the writer picks up to five words or short phrases from its own text that a newcomer to Satsuma, blockchains or software would not know." "The explanations go through the same hard rules and judge as the update itself." Tried on one real update, it picked migration, mandate account, ownership drill, product registry and finding, each with a specific explanation. The explanations for Active, sessions, updates and commits on the status bar stay as they are.
The change is in a pull request, opened and ready to be merged.
