Book site live at book.satsuma.one; a second built for targa.dev

Satsuma has a website for a book, kept in the satsuma-book repository: the book reads in three languages, and signing up by email unlocks Part III. The site is now live at book.satsuma.one. In a Claude Code session, Claude set up its Cloudflare side: a D1 database, a Cloudflare Pages project to host it, and a DNS record for the book address.

Checks on the live site showed the pages in all three languages and the sitemap loading, the server rejecting a bad email address, and the chapter text of Part III not reachable as a public file. The change pointing the site at the production database was left for a parallel session working on an email course in the same repository to commit, rather than committing over that session's work.

A second book site, book.targa.dev, was built from the same code in a new repository, targa-book, with its own content and a dark look with a red-orange accent. Both sites are live.

Signup will report a failure on both until outgoing email is set up, since the confirmation email is what opens Part III. There is no mailbox on targa.dev, and none is needed: "You don't need a targa.dev mailbox to send email. Sending only needs a few DNS records on the domain to prove the mail is legitimate, and I can add those in Cloudflare the same way I added the book records." The recommendation was Cloudflare Email Sending, sending from a book address on each domain with replies going to a personal inbox, pending confirmation that it can be wired into these sites.
