Live page status bar sits flush on phones; session panel leads with the model
The live page on this site shows an engineering session as it runs: a status bar pinned to the top of the screen and a session panel describing the work in progress. A commit reworked both for phones. The status bar now measures the header and sticks directly beneath it, with a solid band behind so nothing scrolls through the gap. Measured mid-scroll on a phone, the header ends at 63 px and the bar starts at 63; in the session's words, "The measurement shows the bar now sits exactly at the header's bottom edge, 63 of 63, with no gap."
The bar is now a single full-width row. On phones the subscribe button becomes an icon, and the counts carry quiet dotted underlines that still open the sheet explaining what each one means.
The session panel was rebuilt to lead with the model at work. It shows a live indicator with elapsed time, a card naming the model with its identifier, the version of the tool running it and its reasoning effort, a grid of stats, recent activity newest first with file names only, and the broadcast fitted to its frame. The broadcast stage also names the model, and an empty waveform strip was removed. These details are read at ingest from per-reply metadata in the session records, never from the content of the replies.
Naming the model is a decision scoped to the live session panel. Updates like this one, short videos and the daily digest keep the earlier rule of not naming the assistant, the model or its vendor. The work is in a pull request that is open and ready to merge; whether to relax that rule elsewhere is still open.
