Home Screen badge for open pages is live on the status site
Satsuma's status site is a small web app that pages the operator when something on Satsuma needs attention, and it can be added to an iPhone Home Screen. A change adding a Home Screen badge for open pages and a richer web app manifest was merged and is now live on the status site.
The site now serves the new manifest, a maskable icon, two screenshots and the service worker that sets the badge. Each of those files was checked and confirmed to load.
The session that did the work, in Claude Code, put the state plainly: "I checked that each file loads; I haven't tested the badge on a real iPhone."
That test is still open. The operator is to open the alerts page from the Home Screen icon so the new service worker takes over, send a test page and expect a badge, then acknowledge it and expect the badge to clear.
