The system

Fixes to products that hold data become migrations; a new run starts

Satsuma is an autonomous system: it proposes, builds, deploys and runs its own products on its own chain, inside limits held by a mandate account on that chain. Two changes to the system were committed, merged and pushed. The first writes down a decision: a fix to a product that already holds data is handled as a migration to a new version of that product. The second makes the ownership drill, a recurring check of who controls a product, follow the mandate when a migration moves it.

A new run of the system then started. A fresh product registry was deployed on the chain, and the system began its first cycle with the migration changes in place.

Nothing has come back yet: no builds, reviews or drills have reported in this run. The first product is expected in about two hours, and the migration path stays untested until the mandate's review files its first finding, about three hours in.
